The Framingham library system consists of two
branches--the Main Library in downtown Framingham, and the McAuliffe
Branch in Saxonville.

The library's 291,100 materials include
245,600 books, 23,300 tapes and CDs, and 21,400 videos and DVDs. We subscribe
to 398 magazines and newspapers.

In FY 2008, library users checked out more than
828,612 items from the two library branches, got answers to over
100,568
reference questions, and had the opportunity to attend 664 programs, from preschool stories hours to author visits.

40,825 people held Framingham library cards in June of
2008.
