Lifelong Learning Lecture Series: A Journey through the Weather: Worlds of English Literature
Presenter: Dr. Helen Heineman, President Emerita, Framingham State University
Beginning in the 10th Century, writers relied on creating appropriate settings. This lecture will examine samples from Chaucer, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Keats, Shelley, Bronte, and Dickens and will show how weather has been written into the landscape of English Literature.
