The Wild Reads Kids' Summer Reading Adventure features great activities, entertainment, reading, and library fun for kids of all ages. Check the Summer Reading Adventure Page for details and registration information.

The library will be closed Friday morning August 8 for staff development. We will reopen at 2:00 pm.

On July 30 Notorious - musicians Eden MacAdam-Somer and Larry Unger - will perform traditional and contemporary acoustic music.

Library hours: We are closed Sundays until September. The McAuliffe Branch is closed Saturdays until September.

"Wild" songs and "Natural" stories are featured on July 30 in The Day the Library Went Wild with Jay Mankita.
On July 26, kids can solve a mystery by following hidden clues in the Children's Room at Scooby Doo Mystery Morning.
Monday July 28 is Scrabble Night for kids in grades 6 to 12.

When lightning strikes, an experimental robot comes to life in Short Circuit, our July 25 Kids Movie Matinee.

Thanks to the Friends of the Library and other generous donors, the library offers passes to a variety of local attractions - and you can reserve your passes online. Be sure to check out our newest passes: the Sports Museum in Boston and a parking pass for the Massachusetts state parks.
