Framingham Public Library Directions

There is a parking lot on Lexington St. with street parking also available. Handicapped ramps are located on both Pearl St. and Lexington St. sides of the Library, and there is an elevator in the Library building.

Via Public Transportation
The Framingham Commuter Rail Station on the Worcester/Framingham Line is less than a mile away from the Framingham Public Library. This train departs from South Station. For schedules and fares, visit the MBTA web site. The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) stops near the Library on Routes 2 and 3. From Boston and Points East
Take the Mass Pike West to Exit 117, Framingham and Natick. After toll booth, bear right onto Route 30 West. Continue on Route 30 about 1 mile and make a left turn onto Route 126 (Concord Street). Continue about 1 mile and at Dunkin' Donuts take a right onto Lincoln Street. Take your first left onto Pearl Street. Continue up the block, take the first right onto Union Avenue, then first right onto Lexington St. Library parking lot is on your right.

From Worcester and Points West
Take the Mass Pike east to exit 111 and make a right turn after the toll booth onto Route 9 east. You'll come to a set of lights at Temple Street, with a strip mall and Friendly's on the right; continue straight through on Route 9 another mile to the Framingham/Edgell Road exit. At end of the off ramp, turn right at the light onto Main Street. This road becomes Union Avenue after you pass the Minuteman statue on your left in the small square. Proceed on Union Avenue about one mile. Make a left turn onto Lexington Street and a right into the Library parking lot.

From the Main Library on 49 Lexington Street
Take a right out of the Lexington Street parking lot. Turn left onto Lincoln Street. At the end of the road, take a slight right onto Union Avenue. Follow the road and continue onto Main Street, which turns into Edgell Road. Continue on Edgell Road for about two miles until you get to the intersection of Edgell Road, Edmands Road, and Water Street. Take a right onto Water Street and continue for 0.1 miles. The destination will be on the right, across from the Hemenway School.

From the West (Route 9)
Follow Route 9 East into Framingham. After crossing the railroad tracks and JN Phillips Auto Glass on the right, take the next exit for Edgell Rd. / Main St. / Framingham onto High Street. Turn left at the lights onto Main Street, then continue straight. Main Street turns into Edgell Road. Continue on Edgell Road for about two miles. At the lights at the intersection of Edgell Road, Edmands Road, and Water Street, take a right onto Water Street and continue for 0.1 miles. The destination will be on the right, across from the Hemenway School.

From the East (Route 9)
Follow Route 9 West into Framingham. After reaching Walgreens, Trader Joe's, and Staples (on the right), take the next exit for Route 30 W toward Framingham / Southborough. At the lights, turn right onto Edgell Road. Continue on Edgell Road for about two miles. At the lights at the intersection of Edgell Road, Edmands Road, and Water Street, take a right on Water Street and continue for 0.1 miles. The destination will be on the right, across from the Hemenway School.
