This Chess Club is an informal group welcoming everyone from new players to junior chess masters! Chess boards are provided, but you can bring your own. Staff are available to help with questions, but will not be teaching chess. For Elementary and Middle School students.

Whether you're new to cross stitch or have been stitching for years, join us for a beginner-friendly cross stitch workshop! Put on a VR Headset and prepare to root out a traitor on the ship! One Up Games will bring the equipment, and we’ll play as many matches as we can in the time we have.

Local boxing gym Trybe Fytness will be bringing their equipment to the library to run a high-energy session introducing the fundamentals of non-contact boxing through bag work, technique drills, and conditioning. After the class, we’ll make smoothies to cool down.

Using colorful wool and a special barbed needle you will sculpt a fun green carnivorous plant complete with fangs and a bright red tongue, all rooted in a real terra-cotta pot!

Manisha from Henna Cafe will be going over the history, culture, and science of henna tattooing, along with the fundamentals of Indian, African, and Moroccan designs, with plenty of time for participants to practice and draw on their own henna/mehndi!
