• Library Cards

Massachusetts residents may obtain a library card in person by presenting identification and proof of current address. There is no waiting period for a library card. You must be at least five years old to get a card.

You may sign up for a temporary card online, which allows you to download eBooks and access state provided databases. Please read the Minuteman page on temporary cards for more information.

Please notify the library of any change of address.

Please present your library card when borrowing materials.

Lost library cards should be reported immediately. You are responsible for all materials borrowed on your card until you report it lost or stolen.  Parents are responsible for materials borrowed by children 18 years and younger.  A replacement card costs $1.00.

Library cards expire periodically so that we may verify current contact information. If your card expires, please contact us to update your card. If a card is completely inactive for a period of four years, it will be deleted from the database.

  • Checking Your Library Account Online

Using your library card number and PIN, you can log into your account to view your library record, which includes both print and digital content. To see your digital content only, click HERE. If you have a smartphone or tablet, consider downloading the Minuteman Library Network app to your device. Either way, you'll be able to see what materials you've checked out, renew items, check the status of or cancel your reserves, modify your PIN or email address, and more.
