Massachusetts residents may obtain a library card in person by presenting identification and proof of current address. There is no waiting period for a library card. You must be at least five years old to get a card.
Alternatively, you may sign up for a card online. You can use the temporary card for 30 days before you must visit a library in person to continue using your card. When you pick up your card you must present a photo ID and proof of address.
Please notify the library of any change of address.
Please present your library card when borrowing materials.
Lost library cards should be reported immediately. You are responsible for all materials borrowed on your card until you report it lost or stolen. Parents are responsible for materials borrowed by children 18 years and younger. A replacement card costs $1.00.
Library cards expire periodically so that we may verify current contact information. If your card expires, please contact us to update your card. If a card is completely inactive for a period of four years, it will be deleted from the database.
Using your library card and PIN, you can log into My Account to view your library record. You'll be able to see what materials you've checked out, renew those items that are renewable, check the status of or cancel your reserves, modify your PIN or email address.
