Mandy Roberge will be joining us to teach an intro to sewing. Learn how to thread/operate a sewing machine; how to sew a button, and how to hem clothing! This is the first in our new Make It! program series focusing on art and creativity. Space is limited, and registration is required. Please click on the event listing, and fill out the form at the bottom of the page to sign up. When doing so, please put the grade of the person/people attending in the "Message" box, as well as the names of any additional registrants.

Vacation Week Craft: Peeps Dioramas (McAuliffe Branch Library)

We’re gonna have a contest this spring to see who can make the coolest Peeps diorama. Yup, the little marshmallow birds and bunnies. You can make yours at home if you’d like and bring it in to us by the end of April (deadline is Tuesday, April 30th), but we’re gonna give you all some time to work on it here at the library too. We’ll have all the basics you’ll need (including lots of Peeps), but bring anything else you’d like to use. Winner gets a cool prize.
