Cardboard Cactus Creation
Paint leaf and flower-shaped cardboard pieces and connect them to form a unique cactus sculpture! Ages 4-12
RESCHEDULED: Craft Workshop: Beginner-Friendly Cross Stitch
Whether you're new to cross stitch or have been stitching for years, join us for a beginner-friendly cross stitch workshop! Participants will learn or get a refresh on cross stitching basics including techniques, materials, and best practices, all while working on a sweet, summer-y mini pattern. All materials included.

We're taking storytime on the go this summer in Framingham! Join us for a themed storytime and craft, a visit on the Bookmobile, and the occasional activity brought to you by Parks & Recreation!
All stops are accessible by MWTA busses. If traveling by MWTA bus, notify driver along route by park to stop.

Craft Supply Swap
Do some of your craft supplies need a new home? Would you like free supplies to try something new? Bring supplies to donate and swap them for new ones!
Please bring your donated items to the library between July 13-21.
Felted Carnivorous Plant w/ Pop Up Art School
Using colorful wool and a special barbed needle you will sculpt a fun green carnivorous plant complete with fangs and a bright red tongue, all rooted in a real terra-cotta pot!

Art Journal Jam for Adults
Bring your own art journal and prepare to get messy! Join us for this casual, unstructured session exploring the possibilities of art journals. No experience required. Some supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your favorite medium to work in. Space is limited. Registration required.
Make it Tuesday: Cat Grass Heads
Looking for a fun, low-stress way to add some greenery to your space and provide a treat your furry friend at the same time? Come get your hands dirty at the McAuliffe Branch Library.
We’ll use thin cloth, soil, and pet-safe cat grass seed to sculpt a quirky grass head creation. After some water and sun you’ll get a wild head of green hair that you can style, trim, or let your cat happily munch on! Supplies provided.

Shadow Box Botanical Arrangement
Preserve the beauty of the garden long after the growing season has passed. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of drying flowers before creating your own floral shadow box arrangement. Using a selection of dried blooms and natural materials, you'll design a unique piece of botanical art that captures the color, texture, and charm of the natural world.
Your finished shadow box will be ready to display in your home for years to come or can be given as a thoughtful handmade gift. No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Participants will leave with a completed arrangement and the knowledge to continue preserving flowers at home.
