Meeting Rooms

To request a meeting room, please first review our Meeting Room Policy

Patrons may request a room booking themselves through our Room Booking module below, or by calling call Library Administration at 508-532-5570 x4333. Please keep in mind individual room capacities when requesting a room. Once you have requested a room, Library Administration will reach out to you to either confirm your room booking or request further details. If you are requesting the use of technology in the room you will be asked to schedule a separate technology demo before your first meeting to go over the use of the equipment.

Study Rooms

We have study rooms at both Libraries, which operate on a first come, first-served basis.

  • Main Library:
    • 1 Group Study room, 2-4 people, 2 hours maximum. Reservable in advance.
    • 3 Individual Study rooms, 1 person only, 2 hours maximum. 1 room is reservable in advance.
  • McAuliffe Branch:
    • 2 Group Study rooms, 2-4 people, 2 hours maximum. 1 room is reservable in advance.

Reservable rooms may be booked up to two weeks in advance. Reservations in advance can be made through our Room Booking module below or by calling the Reference Desk of the branch at which the room is located. Patrons forfeit their reservation if they do not arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled reservation time.

Patrons may also come to the library and request to use a study room same day. To ensure equitable access, use of study rooms is limited to one continuous 2 hour session per day per patron/group, regardless of whether use is walk-in or reserved ahead of time. Users do not have to be Framingham Public Library cardholders to reserve study rooms, but must book with the Reference Desk if they do not have a card.

The use of all study rooms is dependent upon following the Framingham Public Library Code of Behavior and may be revoked at the discretion of the LIbrary Director. Patrons are expected to obey staff instruction at all times when using the Library Space.

Please ask at either Reference Desk for more details, or call 508-532-5570 x4361.
