Book Discussion: The Last Nude by Ellis Avery

In 1927 Paris a young American named Rafaela Fano agrees to model for the Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka. The two become lovers, and Rafaela inspires Tamara’s most iconic Jazz Age images. Tamara is a cocktail of raw hunger and glittering artifice and a season as the painter’s muse teaches Rafaela some hard lessons. Inspired by real events in de Lempicka's history, The Last Nude is a stunning story of love, sexual obsession, treachery, and tragedy.

Friends of the Framingham Library Book Sale

9:30 – 10:00am FRIENDS MEMBERS ONLY
10:00-3:00pm Open to the public

The Friends have added two extra sales this year: Sunday April 2, 1-4pm (no bag room) and Saturday July 15, 10am-3pm (9:30am for members).

Are you aware of the Affinity Program that the Friends have in partnership with TD Bank?  If you have a TD Bank account, the bank will donate a % of your annual balance to the Friends.  It’s easy to sign up!  Ask at the Temple Street location or call 508-879-7400 and speak with Jeremy Brandon.

Donations are still a critical concern for the Friends! Donations of relatively recent books are most important and are always gratefully accepted during the sale.  Smaller donations may also be made at the main library during the week.  Please, if you have books to donate, call the main library for information at 508-532-5570x4333 to arrange your donation.
