Donations: A Message from the Friends of the Library

Due to COVID-19 and the closure of the Library, the Friends are unable to accept any donations at this time.  We will update you when we are up and running again.  Please do not leave donations outside Library doors or near book drops. Thank you.

Limited Time! Kanopy Kids for Free

Starting Monday March 16th we’ve opened free, unlimited access to Kanopy Kids to all of our partnering libraries. Your community’s kids can enjoy quality educational content like Sesame Street, Arthur, and even benefit from language learning series. Free access will be available for 30 days. Hoopla Increases the Number of Items You May Borrow

While we are in the midst of the coronavirus crisis, our Collection Development Librarian and Library Director have worked with Hoopla to increase the number of items you can borrow from five to ten per calendar month. Digital books, comics and audiobooks from Hoopla are available for 21 days. There are no holds and everything may be downloaded instantly. The Framingham Public Library Foundation meets its $150K goal for the Bookmobile

Thanks to the help of more than 250 generous families and institutions, the Framingham Public Library Foundation has met its $150K goal to purchase and equip an accessible bookmobile. In November, the Foundation plans to hold a donor appreciation event for those who helped make the Bookmobile a reality. The Bookmobile will begin service in Framingham in April, 2019.
