Registration for Summer Reading at the library starts Saturday, June 27th! To sign up, fill out the registration form online beginning on June 27.

Each time you read a book and fill out the prize form and you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of our end-of-summer prizes! Entries are accepted through Friday, September 4.

Our 2026 Summer Reading program kicks off with our annual Truck Day event at the McAuliffe Branch! Stop by this all ages event, and while you’re here, register for Summer Reading. Once you register, grab your Summer Reading t-shirt. Supplies are limited—when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Learn a few textile techniques to create a wall hanging to take home and highlight your new skills! Explore flower imprints, dye resist techniques, and fabric collage to create unique works of art using summer's bounty. Registration is required and opens on August 1.

Workshop: Photographing & Capturing the Beauty of Flowers and Gardens

August 18, 6PM | Main Library, Costin Room

In this workshop, learn a set of simple techniques for taking stunning flower and garden photos. Photograph plants and flowers, try different ideas, and share helpful tips and feedback. No experience needed, no fancy equipment required! Just bring a camera or phone. Registration is required and opens on August 1.
