Most of us agree that we want safe, healthy gardens that benefit us and wildlife. Organic gardening sounds ideal, but does that mean? Entomologist and gardener Natalie Tessicini will teach you the basic concepts of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a systematic approach to gardening that will help you achieve your goals and live by your values.
Join the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and explore the many facets of agriculture and the food we eat every day! Make connections to plant parts and inherited traits, and tinker with ways to improve our agricultural systems and make connections to the history of New England Farming! Space and supplies limited. Grades PreK-5
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Framingham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
