Guest Speaker: Jessica Roscio, Curator of the Danforth Art Museum
Meta Fuller is considered to be one of the first African-American female sculptors of importance. A Framingham resident, she was part of the Harlem Renaissance movement and studied under August Rodin. The Danforth Art Museum is home to a large body of her work.
There will be a 45 minute lecture followed by a 15 minute question and answer period. Refreshments will be served.

This drop-in class welcomes serious poets of all ages and levels of experience who would like to participate for one or more sessions. Each session begins with a discussion of a topic in poetry leading to a brief in-class assignment. Poets who wish to have their work discussed need to provide copies to distribute during the session. Alan’s new collection, Immortality, was most recently awarded the Massachusetts Book Award for Poetry in 2016.
