Community Art Project: A Home For Our Future Generations
March 27, 1PM | Main Library, Costin Room
Come take part in a community art project led by local artists Julia Csekö and Raquel Fornasaro. Lend your creative skills to a house-shaped public art installation that focuses on sustainability. Using wood shingles and stenciling supplies, design a shingle to be included on the exterior of the house.
A Home for Our Future Generations is sponsored by the City of Framingham and the Town of Natick to highlight energy conservation through community engagement. Funded by Mass Save’s Community First Partnership, the project features home-shaped outdoor installations in both communities. The project also includes workshops in schools, libraries, and public spaces that combine hands-on art-making with information about energy-saving actions and Mass Save programs.
Look for the Framingham installation in the spring 2026 in the green space next to Village Hall on the Common. To help determine the amount of supplies needed, please register for the event.
