    Genealogy Research Workshop

    Come join the Framingham Public Library as you look to explore your family history! Learn how to start your searching, find out about FPL resources, and how to avoid common research pitfalls in this extended research session.     Michelle McGee retired from TJX Cos., Inc. in 2021, after a 28-year varied career. She immediately enrolled in Boston University’s Genealogical Research program where she achieved a Certificate in Genealogical Research. She has been a practicing genealogist since the 1990s and has taken her own maternal family research from the Berkshire mountains to the Mayflower, and back further to King Henry lll of England. Aside from family research, Michelle is an avid baker and home cook, enjoys working in the garden, and is on the board of directors and sings soprano for Voices of MetroWest, a local non-profit community choir. She currently lives in Framingham with her husband Steve and their dog, Mr. Baskin.
