    Sci-Fi Book Club: The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury

    Is there life on Mars? In Bradbury’s imagination, there are indeed native Martians, who are none too pleased with the arrival of colonists from the third planet from the sun. After the first few waves of settlers are vanquished by the Martians, the people of Earth ultimately prevail, making pilgrimages to Mars to escape various forms of oppression back home.
