A Visual Public Art Show featuring artwork from the Framingham Public Schools grades K-12 will be on display at the library from March 6 – March 31. Come meet the artists at a reception on Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30-7:00. Refreshments will be served.
“We went to the moon to have fun, but the moon turned out to completely suck.” If that opening line doesn’t hook you, keep reading. In a near future world of consumerism gone mad, brains are hooked up to the Feed at birth, allowing television and computers to continually broadcast the latest news, trends and ads directly to one’s mind. When Titus and his friends travel to the moon to party at the “stupid lowgrav Ricochet Lounge,” his meaningless existence takes a new direction upon meeting Violet, a home-schooled girl who thinks for herself and opens Titus’ eyes to the true agenda of the Feed.
