Brown Bag Learning Series: Introduction to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Presented by: Dr. Hua Hai

Join Dr. Hai for an introduction to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an ancient and unique medical system of diagnosis, treatment and preventative health care. It has been practiced in China for over 3,000 years, and was introduced to the United States in 1972.  Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body—most often by inserting thin needles through the skin. Dr. Hua Hai has been involved in acupuncture and herbal treatments since 1973 and brings four decades of expertise to her practice.  Come learn all about this ancient medical practice.
