In 1953, with their golden era behind them, comedy team Laurel & Hardy set out on a variety hall tour of Britain. The tour becomes a hit, but long-buried ghosts and Oliver’s failing health start to threaten their partnership. Aware that they are approaching their swan song, they rediscover just how much they mean to each other.
