Banned Book Week Special Screening: Banned Together
Following three students as they fight to reinstate 97 books suddenly pulled from their school libraries, this film pulls back the curtain on two of the most controversial issues in America today: book bans and curriculum censorship in public schools. As they evolve from local to national activists, they meet with banned authors, politicians, and the major players protecting the First Amendment of our Constitution.

Halloween Costume Swap
All month long, donate your gently used and clean costumes or accessories for ages 0-100 to either branch, or stop by the Main Library to choose a costume to keep. When we say ages 0-100 we mean bring your infant costumes! Bring your teen costumes! Bring your adult costumes! Halloween isn't only for children. Let's all share in the spirit!
