Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, August 2 through August 25
The Framingham Public Library will be offering films and lunch three days a week this summer to children under the age of 18. Drop by, eat, watch some movie shorts, and pick up some summer reading while you’re here. August 2 will feature Bill Nye, the Science Guy (no movie will accompany lunch on August 4); August 7, 9, and 11 will feature Scooby Doo; August 14, 16 and 18 will feature Spongebob Squarepants; and August 21, 23 and 25 will feature Tom and Jerry.
Ages 18 and under.
Experience chair yoga and feel better! Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced while sitting in a chair. No experience necessary.
Instructor Vicki Brunelle has owned her own yoga studio for 18 years and currently teaches at a senior center as well. She has been teaching classes for over 20 years.
Its time to rumble!!! Game Underground and Framingham Public Library will be hosting a Wii U Super Smash Bros. tournament in August. Pick your character, and work your way up the ranks to be the supreme champion. Who knows, there may even be a prize for the contestant who comes out on top.
For those of you who just want to come and watch, or play a more casual match, we'll have several TVs and game systems set up for you to have fun too.
