Unwind with your knitting and your crocheting at the library!  Share tips, conversation, and a love of making. Drop in for a little while or for the whole time. Instruction is provided if needed. Bring your own materials, although we do have some tools to get you started.  We look forward to seeing you every Wednesday from 10-11 and the second and fourth Saturday of the month.

Films Plus Lunch for Kids

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, August 2 through August 25

The Framingham Public Library will be offering films and lunch three days a week this summer to children under the age of 18. Drop by, eat, watch some movie shorts, and pick up some summer reading while you’re here. August 2 will feature Bill Nye, the Science Guy (no movie will accompany lunch on August 4); August 7, 9, and 11 will feature Scooby Doo; August 14, 16 and 18 will feature Spongebob Squarepants; and August 21, 23 and 25 will feature Tom and Jerry.

Ages 18 and under.

Come experience chair yoga and feel better! Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced while sitting in a chair.  No experience necessary.

Vicki Brunelle has owned her own yoga studio for 18 years and currently teaches at a senior center as well. She has been teaching classes for over 20 years.

Its time to rumble!!! Game Underground and Framingham Public Library will be hosting a Wii U Super Smash Bros. tournament in August. Pick your character, and work your way up the ranks to be the supreme champion. Who knows, there may even be a prize for the contestant who comes out on top.

For those of you who just want to come and watch, or play a more casual match, we'll have several TVs and game systems set up for you to have fun too.

Please register by clicking on the event and filling out the form at the bottom of the page to guarantee a spot in the competition. In the message section, please enter the grade you'll be attending in the fall. There will be maximum of 64 players entered, so get your registration in soon!
