Friends Book Sale

9:30am-3:00pm: Open to Friends Members

• Most Books $1.00 or less, Children’s .50 or less, single DVDs $2.00.
• 3 Rooms + the Lobby chock full of books.
• This month we have a special selection of paperback books at $2.00 each in the lobby.
• We are also featuring CD’s at 2 for $1.00 for singles and $2.00 for multi CD sets.
• We have books of all genres, a huge children’s section, and a selection of foreign books & movies.

Thanks to your support of the Friends, we are able to provide free movies, concerts, programs, museum passes, audio books, CDs, Children’s Room apps, and more!

Makers’ Workshop with local author Brett Fleishman

• January 19, 2019 , 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm / Main Library, Children's Craft Room

Come learn about puns and how Brett employs them as 'surprise endings' in his poetry.  You’ll learn about homonyms and puns, see them used in Brett’s poetry and then create your own punny poems!

Book Buddy: Reading to Dogs

• January 19, 2019 , 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm / Main Library, Children’s Program Room

Improve your reading skills the fun way by reading aloud to your new Book Buddy. Certified Reading/Therapy Dogs Lilah, Montana and Eloise listen as children read aloud from a book of their choice.

Registration required. Call 508-532-5570 x4 or drop by to sign up for a 15 minute slot.
