Sci-Fi Book Discussion and Movie: Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer
Creepy and foreboding from the first few lines, Annihilation tells the story of a team of four unnamed scientists who embark on an expedition to Area X, from which previous exploratory teams have either never returned or emerged as shells of their former selves. Book discussion 6-7pm, followed by movie 7-9pm.
