Tiny Clover Terrariums (McAuliffe Branch)

Grow a tiny, self-sustaining clover patch in a jar! We’ll meet in person once at each library, and then offer any remaining supplies up as Take & Make kits.

Registration isn't required, but if you'd like a reminder email, please put your information in the box below. This will not sign you up for a Take & Make kit, that registration from will go up after the in person programs have finished.

Composting 101 thumbnail Photo

Composting 101

This workshop covers the importance and benefits of composting including the entire process from setting up a compost pile to ongoing proper maintenance, and finally the many ways of using finished compost. The presentation will go over different kinds of backyard compost techniques including how to create compost that you can use in your garden. Finally demystify what can actually go into the compost bin, how much, and what to avoid at all costs. This will be a fun and informative talk about ways to simplify composting at home or with curbside pickup. No hungry critters allowed! Can't make it inperson?
