Drop-in Knitting

Unwind with your knitting and your crocheting at the library!  Share tips, conversation, and a love of making. Drop in for a little while or for the whole time. Instruction is provided if needed. Bring your own materials, although we do have some tools to get you started. 

Meets every Wednesday and the second and fourth Saturday of the month.

Join us for a fun fall day of crafts, baby animal petting zoo with Animal Craze: Traveling Petting Zoo and Farm Animals, a Screaming Contest, and more! Fun for all ages and the whole family! Light refreshments provided.

Animal Craze: Traveling Petting Zoo and Farm Animals: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Back Patio

 

Children’s Mask Craft: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, Craft Room. Decorate your own eye mask!

 

Screaming Contest: 12:00 pm, Outside in Front of Library. We'll be judging the loudest, scariest, funniest, and quietest screams!

In case of rain, Animal Craze will be inside the Community Room.

Take a self-guided walk around the library to read our fall title, Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds! Start at the bottom of the Pearl St. ramp, continue around the building, up the Lexington St. steps, then halfway down the ramp to the stairs to the Reading Garden and the end of the story.
