Wildlife in Winter

Did you ever wonder how our local wildlife are adapted to survive a New England winter? Join Dan Stimson, Sudbury Valley Trustees' (SVT) Assistant Director of Stewardship to learn about our local conservation areas and the wildlife that live there. Discover what animals you are likely to see along the trails during winter. Dan Stimson has been with the Stewardship Department at SVT since 2002. Dan manages trails, access, and infrastructure for SVT's reservations and conservation restrictions, working with volunteers to maintain more than 65 miles of trails. Dan also manages GIS for our organization, preparing maps for properties and projects while working with other staff and partners to incorporate GIS in their work. Dan has a bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation and Management from the University of Massachusetts.

Register by 5pm on Tuesday, March 1st at http://bit.ly/FPL-Events to receive a Zoom invite.
