Recognized all over the world as the quintessential Russian souvenir, the dolls provide a fascinating glimpse into the many facets of Russian culture. This program, led by Laura Garrity-Arquitt from the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA, explores the evolution of the doll, with an emphasis on the folktale and storytelling dolls.
