Some important “Hidden Figures” who helped us get to the moon were African American women. Drop in and paint the moon using tinfoil. Ages 6+
GUEST SPEAKER: Dr. Kelly Ann Kolodny, Professor of Education and Program Chair for Child and Family Studies, Framingham State University.
Dr. Kolodny discusses her recent book, which explores pre-school to 12th grade teachers and administrators insights about moments that matter in the learning and development of children. Dr Kolodny examines the diverse conceptions of moments that matter, the timing of them and how they may unfold between young people and their educators.
