Creating Zine Comics w/ Jonathan Todd: Autobiographical Comics
In the third of four Creating Zine Comics programs with cartoonist Jonathan Todd (Timid), he will share his approach to creating them, asking students to reflect upon personally meaningful moments in their lives and thinking of precise ways to express these memories—and their significance—in comics form.

The Art of Good Nutrition
What constitutes a healthful diet? This class will cover much of what we know. Topics will include the problems with highly-processed foods, and a better, healthier way of eating. Also learn about great eating behaviors that will set you up for healthy success. Throughout the presentation enjoy several fine art paintings of food.
Judy Palken, MNS, RD, LDN is a registered dietitian who translates the science of nutrition into practical recommendations. In her classes, Judy teaches how great food choices and other healthful behaviors can reduce inflammation, promote good health, and help us to feel our best. She uses fine art paintings to convey her messages and inspire great choices.
