Join your familiar children’s librarians for some stories and a craft, and keep adding to your 1000 books before Kindergarten list.

Monday Matinee: Practical Magic (1997)
Adapted from Alice Hoffman's novel of the same title, this crafty chick flick tells the story of two sisters who are witches: one wants to lead a normal life and the other wants to have fun, but a matter of life and death get in the way of both.

Maker Mondays: Paper Mache Pumpkins
Make a paper mache pumpkin for spooky season. Come one week to make a small simple one, or come back several weeks in a row to make an elaborate painted masterpiece!

Tone and Stretch
A variety of functional fitness exercises to tone core, upper and lower body muscles followed by stretches. This is a low impact class designed to be adaptable to participants’ different levels.

Mother Goose on the Loose
Only for registered participants. Check back in the winter for information on the next session. Ages 0-2.
Girls Who Code Club
Join our club and meet weekly (9 sessions) to learn to code and change the world! Using the curriculum from girlswhocode.com, participants will gain an understanding of computer science concepts through reading discussions and coding activities. Grades 3-5.

Puzzle Swap: McAuliffe Branch
What to do with jigsaw puzzles you’ve completed? Swap them! Bring your puzzles to exchange with others. No puzzle to swap? Come anyway; there are always extras for you to take. All ages and levels welcome.
