McAuliffe Book Discussion: The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

Told in Dinah’s voice, this novel reveals the traditions and turmoils of ancient womanhood—the world of the red tent. Starting with the story of her mothers who bestow gifts that sustain her through a hard-working youth, a calling to midwifery, and a new home in a foreign land, Dinah’s story reaches out from a remarkable period of early history and creates an intimate connection with the past.

Led by Dawn Dellasanta.

Universe of Squishies!

Since the Summer Reading theme is A Universe of Stories, we’re going to make a Universe of Squishies for our August craft! Cut out your own squishy friend from memory foam, and paint it however you’d like.

Registration isn’t required, but we’d love it if you would so we know how much material we’ll need. Click on the event listing or poster and fill out the form at the bottom of the page. When doing so, please put the grade of the person/people attending in the "Message" box, as well as the names of any additional registrants.
