January 28, 1986, Space Shuttle Challenger exploded, traumatizing the nation and taking the lives of the seven-member NASA crew. Among them was Christa McAuliffe, the first Teacher in Space. Reach for the Stars is her story. Most remember the event as a great loss, but in fact McAuliffe's life and death have inspired millions around the world. In-person. No registration required. Not Rated; Run time 75 minutes.

Framingham Public Library received a grant from Arizona State University to fund the creation of Citizen Science kits that will be available for check out! Join this session to learn what Citizen Science is all about, and to get a peak at the kits we’ll be rolling out over the first half of 2022.
