In a world that is increasingly climatologically unpredictable, Dave Epstein explains how important it is not only to use native plants but also other ways to help mitigate a changing climate. By making small changes in everything from how we use compost, when we clean our gardens, and how we water, gardeners can become an integral part of the fight against climate change and encourage others to make those decisions.
This talk also helps gardeners know which plants can be helpful to pollinators and other fauna that may benefit from modifying horticultural practices.
Registration for the in-person event is closed. This event will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel at youtube.com/FraminghamPublicLibrary.
This event is provided by the Framingham Garden Club in partnership with the Framingham Public Library. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Framingham Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
