Come to a session with animation teacher Eben Taylor. Learn how to create animations using flip-books and bring your spooky art to life.

All month long, donate your gently used and clean costumes or accessories for ages 0-100 to either branch, or stop by the Main Library to choose a costume to keep! All Ages!

No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Contest (Oct. 1-24)

Pick up a pumpkin* from the McAuliffe Branch Library starting Wed, Oct. 1, and decorate it in the manner of your choosing (no carving or inappropriate imagery/language). Decorate it at home or come to a drop-in decorating session at the branch. Return your pumpkin to McAuliffe by Friday, Oct. 24 to be included in the contest. Votes will be cast for the ‘Spookiest’ and ‘Most Creative’ pumpkins from Oct 25-30, with the winners announced on Halloween. Supplies limited. Registration required. Join us for a yarn social hour for knitting, crocheting, and yarn crafting at the Main Library, McAuliffe Branch, or both!

At the Main Library, meet Wednesday mornings at 10 AM and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 10 AM. At the McAuliffe Branch, meet Wednesday evenings at 6 PM.

This is not a learn to knit or crochet program, but we can offer pointers and tips.
