Journal Writers Group: SPECIAL 12 WEEK SESSION: The Artist’s Way

Lifelong Learning Lecture: Before JFK: Anti-Catholicism and American Politics

PBS’s POV Movie Series: Mother’s Day
Once a year on Mother's Day, a charity bus service takes children to visit their mothers in prison across California. Nearly one in ten of the state's children have a parent in prison. Many are unable to regularly visit their incarcerated parents because remote, rural prisons are often difficult to access for low-income families. Through this bus journey, Mother's Day explores the impact of mass incarceration on an entire generation of youth.

What’s the Buzz? The Fifth Annual Town-Wide Middle School Spelling Bee
Master of Ceremonies: Jack Lewis, State Representative
Spelling Bee Official Judge: Framingham High School, English Department Head, Mr. Cook
Teams of students from each of our middle schools will compete using words from the Scripps Spelling Bee Word List, the word list used by U.S. National Spelling Champions.
Team sign up forms and Scripps National Spelling Bee study lists will be available at all middle school offices Monday, April 9th. Three students per team/three teams per school.
