Kids Chess Club
This Chess Club is an informal group welcoming everyone from new players to junior chess masters! Chess boards are provided, but you can bring your own. Staff are available to help with questions, but will not be teaching chess. For Elementary and Middle School students.

MHS Plantmobile: Farm Fresh
Join the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and explore the many facets of agriculture and the food we eat every day! Make connections to plant parts and inherited traits, and tinker with ways to improve our agricultural systems and make connections to the history of New England Farming! Space and supplies limited. Kids learn all about Arthropods, the most diverse group of animal life on the planet, during this exciting show-and-tell-and-touch program! Learn, see, hear, touch, and even smell the incredible adaptations these creatures have that help them survive in the wild world. Ages 3-12

Join us for a visit with Jerry Pallotta, the award-winning author of more than 90 books including the popular Who Would Win? series. Learn about the creative process of how Jerry takes an idea or creature and turns it into a book. Afterwards, Jerry will be available to sell and sign his books. The Who Would Win? series is recommended for summer reading in the Framingham Public Schools! All Ages welcome!
