R.A.D. is a self-defense program of realistic tactics and techniques. It begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance and progresses to basic hands-on defense training.
This condensed class, led by Debi Nau of the Framingham Police Department, covers safety strategies as well as defensive techniques. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear comfortable clothes.

This story time is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Following the moment of silence, Dr. Irene Porro of the Christa Corrigan McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning at Framingham State University will remark upon Christa’s legacy and how the space center will honor it through the McAuliffe Center’s redesign project.
