Virtual Reality Tour: The Anne Frank House
Join us in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day to experience a Virtual Reality tour of the Anne Frank House. To reserve a 45 minute time slot, please call the McAuliffe Branch at 508-532-5636 or register online.
Monday Storytime at McAuliffe
Join your familiar children’s librarians for some stories and a craft, and keep adding to your 1000 books before Kindergarten list.
Ages 2-5, all welcome. In-person.

Join us on for a variety of functional fitness exercises to tone core, upper, and lower body muscles followed by stretches. This is a low impact class designed to be adaptable to participants’ different levels.

This Chess Club is an informal group welcoming everyone from new players to junior chess masters! Chess boards are provided, but you can bring your own. Staff are available to help with questions, but will not be teaching chess. For Elementary and Middle School students.

Once you’ve signed up for the server, you’ll be able to use it whenever you want. But if you want to build when you know there will be other people on too, join us every Wednesday from 2:30-4:00 PM. We can chat, work on group builds, and/or explore the map together.

A twice monthly meeting for LGBTQIA+ and allied teens to hang out and do crafts. On the first Thursday, we’ll be at the Main Library, and on the third Thursday, we’ll meet at the McAuliffe Branch.

Join Discovery Channel's Ronny LeBlanc from EXPEDITION BIGFOOT and PARANORMAL CAUGHT ON CAMERA as he dives into the world of UFOs and UAPs.
You might have heard what is going on in New Jersey with the mysterious drones? Well, this is happening all over the world at the same time and people are seeing strange balls of lights or orbs as well as UFOs appearing and disappearing over sensitive military bases. What is going on? You would be surprised to know that New England and central Massachusetts has a long history of these types of reports. Join us at 7PM to learn about the latest developments in what is going on in our world. Are we going to find out that we are not alone in the universe?

Lifelong Learning Lecture: What Would Lincoln Do? Division in American Political Life
Sometimes it is easy to imagine the divisions in our nation’s political life are unprecedented; however, the nation has faced divisive times before and has found ways to address these divisions which have allowed the American republic to not only survive but thrive.
In this talk, we explore one of those moments of division and learn from the leadership of Abraham Lincoln in addressing, and ultimately resolving, the divisions of his time as a guide for solutions for ours.

AARP Tax Assistance (by appointment only)
IRS trained and certified AARP tax volunteers will be available to prepare your 2024 Federal and State Income tax returns. This program is designed to assist all people of low to middle income with special attention given to those aged 60 and older. This is a free program and volunteers are unable to process complex returns. Artist Talk: The Miniatures of Abraham Megerdichian
Abraham Megerdichian was a machinist who made aircraft engine parts. In his free time, he re-machined scrap metal into his miniature interpretations of everyday objects, which he gave away to family and friends over a period of thirty years. Join his son, Robert, for a presentation about his father’s fascinating life and art.
A selection of Abe’s over-400 objects will be on display at the Main Library February 15 - 27.
Lifelong Learning Lecture: Lord Byron: Still Worth Reading
Though his poetry is not often taught nowadays, in this 200th anniversary of his death in 1824, it’s a good time to celebrate his considerable talent.
Join Dr. Helen Heineman, President Emerita of Framingham State University, to examine Lord Byron’s short life and lasting work.
